Tippy Toes: age 2-3 This is a joyful way for children to explore movement, channel energy, stimulate imagination, promote creativity and embrace discipline. Numerous creative movement exercises will be used to help the young student explore the four basic body movements: bending, stretching, turning and jumping. Through these four basic movements, children will learn about their bodies, the space around them, and working together as a group. No Recital dance
Twinkle Toes: ages 4-5 (Must be 4 by November 31) Students will begin to learn the basic elements of ballet, tap, and tumbling: Socialization skills such as turn-taking and following instructions will be emphasized. The young children will explore movement qualities, musicality, practice gross motor coordination and work on simple locomotion, enhancing the development of both their bodies and their minds! Students must be potty trained for this class.
NEW CAMP CONFETTI: ages 3-6 NEW FUN THEME EVERY MONTH! Students will learn ballet, jazz and tumbling. Sharing stories and working on crafts together. A few themes- Dance PAWty with my pet, Frozen Adventure, Mermagical Mermaids and many more. This class is magical and comes with a few fun surprises along the way. Students must be potty trained for this class. NO RECITAL DANCE
Rubies Combo Dance: ages 5-6 Sapphires Combo Dance: ages 6-8 and Emeralds combo Class ages 8-10 In this class, students will work on ballet and tap. Ballet positions, as well as basic ballet vocabulary are taught along with floor exercises, simple steps and correct posture. A greater emphasis on musicality and rhythm is encouraged. Tap will build upon basic steps and rhythms. Levels will be modified.
PreTeen and Teen combo Dance ages: This class focuses on tap, jazz, and ballet techniques. Thia class blends technique, strength building, stability, and core conditioning designed for a beginner/intermediate level dancer.
*Junior and Senior Combo Dance: Placement only A dance combo class for students who want to be pushed beyond thier level. Intermediate skills, who are looking to perfect their all-around technique. Students will focus on flexibility and strength, moving towards more complex combinations. Students will continue to work on core tap skills, terminology and placement in ballet and strengthening skills in jazz.
* Senior Elite and Advanced Dance: placement only
Strength and Conditioning: ages 10+ Strength training uses resistance such as weights , bands or body weight to target specific muscles or muscle groups while working at a challenging intensity to achieve strength gains. Conditioning through aerobic and anaerobic training works to improve the cardiovascular system - the performance of the heart and lungs and their ability to uptake and transport oxygen to the working muscles of the body. Great class for our more dedicated dancers. NO RECITAL DANCE
Stretch and Technique: Ages 9+ this class is a form of dance integrating ballet, jazz, modern and contemporary dance technique. Classes focus on developing strong rhythmic connections, isolation's and levels. Must have previous dance experience. Must be enrolled in a Dance Combo Class.

Musical Theatre: ages 9+ is a jazz-based class filled with Broadway style dancing and music. Classes incorporate the style of dance one would typically see on a Broadway stage. This form of dancing emphasizes learning performance skills such as connecting with the audience and facial expressions. Dancers must take a combo dance class to participate in Musical Theatre. The class will be split up on different days according to ability, and will also be split for the recital dance.
*PrePointe: ages 12+ is an intermediate to advanced level class that is for students with a strong technical foundation. The curriculum is built with the knowledge that the students understand the structure of ballet, ballet terminology, and etiquette. This class allows students to grow their ballet technique with a deeper understanding of movement and how it works within the anatomical structure of the body. The students will explore intricate center work, expansive across the floor movement, and petit allegro. Individual and group critiques will be provided where the students are expected to apply them. Must have 4 years of ballet and enrolled in a dance combo class with teachers approval.
*Pointe: ages 12+ Must be approved by Pre-Pointe teacher. All pointe students must take Pre-Pointe.
NEW AcroDance Preschool: ages 3-5 Pike Position, Skipping, Marching, Pre Cartwheel, Plié, Tendu, etc. The focus of this program includes learning the acro positions, locomotive skills (jumping, hoping, etc), balance skills, classroom behavior skills, movement concepts, cooperation and social skills. Students must be potty trained. No recital dance
***Acro levels 1-6: Ask teachers for appropriate placement (we will move up or down after evaluation) Placement based on indivduel exam. If a student is movde up a level and can not make a class due to time, we will always work at their level. These levels are different than last year. If you have a good idea what your child can do, you can register them without asking.
*Acro 1 ages 5+ Skills to accomplish: basic floor work such as forward pike roll, handstands, bridges, cartwheels, round-offs and more. backbend and kickovers when ready.
*Acro 2 ages 6+ Skills to accomplish: basic techniques such as cartwheels & round-offs (right and left), hand stands, backbend kickovers and more.
*Acro 3 ages 6+ Skills to accomplish: backward roll, bridge kickover, cartwheel from one knee, backbend from standing, handstand to bridge and more.
*Acro 4ages 6+ skills to accomplish: kickovers, limbers, walkovers, front handsprings, pre-aerials and more.
*Acro 5 ages 6+ skills to accomplish: must have already had backhand spring and aerial spotting experience and know how to do front and back walkovers .
*Acro 6 ages 6+ skills to accomplish: round-off back handsprings, aerial cartwheels, 3 standing back handsprings and more.
*Advanced ages 6+ skills to accomplish: front ariels, tucks, layouts, and many more challenging skills.
Mini Hip-hop: ages 4-7 This class will introduce the latest funk and hip-hop moves, followed by lots of choreography to develop the expressive abilities of the dancer.
NEW Jazz/Hiphop: ages 6-11 and 12+ Our fun and energetic Jazz and Hip-Hop classes have something for everyone. For the younger students, we will combine the foundation of jazz technique with current hip-hop styles, using age-appropriate music and movement. Older students will learn challenging jazz technique to include turns, jumps, tricks, combinations. The class will focus on hip-hop skills with footwork and coordination skills in the choreography. No recital dance
Hip-hop: ages 8+This high-energy street style dance has been sought after by students who want to learn the latest hip-hop trends. Elements include proper conditioning and warm-up, individualized dance steps and full bodied combinations. Dancers LOVE learning these expressive dance steps while dancing to their favorite pop songs. Class will be seperated by ability.
Mini Cheer: ages 4-6 Beginner cheers, jumps, kicks, builds, and tumbling at thier level. This class is fun, energetic and a great way to introduce cheerleading.
Jr. Cheer: ages 6-11 This class is an introduction to cheers, motions, dance, jumps, kicks, voice projection, builds and tumbling at their level. This class is fun, energetic and a great way to introduce cheerleading.
Cheer: ages 9+ This class is for students with intermediate/advanced skills, who are looking to perfect their all-around technique. Students will focus on jump combinations, connecting jumps to tumbling, intermediate/advanced tumbling skills, stunting drills, and flexibility. Class will be seperated by ability.
*Contortion: ages 8+ Must be able to do front and back walkovers with good technique, have all 3 splits with hands in air, and do chest rolls easily. (NO EXCEPTIONS) Class will begin with a total body warmup. Stretches will focus on neck, shoulders, core, back, legs and ankles. Classes are for all levels, however, the instructor will provide pointers and modifications for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. Must be enrolled in an Acro class. No recital dance
NEW Lyrical/Contemporary: ages 7-11 and 12+ Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements. Lyrical dance is a dance style that blends elements of ballet and jazz dance. Lyrical dance is generally a little more fluid than ballet and also somewhat faster -- although not as rapidly executed as jazz dance. Taking a combo class is recommended, along with a jazz class.
NEW Latin Ballroom: Ages 10+ Students will learn the basics of several traditional Latin dances including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Samba. Students will learn both partner combinations as well as solo combinations. Students will also learn the history and origin behind each style of dance.
Diggity Dance Fitness with Dawn on Wednesdays: Adults only Dance Fitness fun! Cardio hip hop and shaking while burning TONS of calories. Drop Ins Welcome!
